Cypress Semiconductor best project
Cypress is the world’s leading manufacturer of SRAM memory and the world’s third-largest manufacturer of MCU, with a turnover of more than 2 billion U.S. Dollars.
Each year the best projects divided by macro-areas (America/Asia/Japan/Europe) are analyzed and compared: the projects come from every field, from every company of all kinds.
In 2016 our project for a bar coffee machine control was voted the best European project.
The machine in question produced by Brasilia (Bianchi Industry Group) looks like a fully digital machine, with a glass control surface that hides RGB LED-lit soft touch for customizations and special signals.
In addition, the 4.3″ display with touch control, completes the control system, along with advanced telemetry and telemanage systems.
The machine interfaces to all smart/mobile systems via Bluetooth or Wifi by downloading the appropriate App from the stores.
Horizon Project 2020
Ecovapor is a joint project funded by the European Community with the “Horizon 2020” call.
We participated (and won) the selections in collaboration with three European companies, one English for the part dedicated to the burner, an Italian part for the part dedicated to the generation of steam, and a Spanish part for the installation and management part.
The stated and achieved aim was to reduce NOx gas emission levels, coupled with considerable fuel savings.
Contrary to what is usually used, we have developed a process control that optimizes the performance of the boiler designed by our partner, making it completely smart with remote control and self-learning of work cycles, which are perfected day by day optimizing gradually the operation, which is no longer “classic” with continuous ignitions and shutdowns but with a dynamic modulation that follows the actual need of use , including turning on and off when not in use.
The result has been to have steam in the correct amount, without waste, when needed and where it is needed, continuously learning from the use of schedules, peaks, breaks, ignitions and shutdowns, even predicting the initial cues.
